Ghibli Museum Afternoon

Itinerary
The museum was opened in 2001 and stands on the 400 m2 site in a green park. The three story building, two above ground and one underground, houses various exhibits, a play space, a Movie Theater, a restaurant and a shopping corner. Ghibli Characters are used in a fun way throughout the museum, including the giant Cat Bus from Totoro, the Robot from Laputa and the harbor view from a window as admired by Kiki in the movie.
1:40 p.m. Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal – Hamamatsucho Sta. – Mitaka Sta. – Ghibli Museum (90min) – Kichijoji Sta. (30min) – Tokyo Sta.
6-7 p.m. Tour disbands on arrival at Tokyo Sta. (Tour guide will tell you how to go back to your hotel.)

Pick-up Services
1. Actual departure times are shown. Please be in the lobby 10 min. before the pick-up time.
2. Times are subject to change with or without notice
3. JR trains, subways, buses and taxis may be used for pick-up and drop-off services.
4. Direct check-in passengers at Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal are requested to show up 20 min. before the actual starting time.
5. Pick-up services at each hotel are available when the reservation is made more than one house before the actual starting time.
6. At New Sanno and Yoshi-ima, pick-up services are available for staying guests only.
7. Participants staying at Grand Prince Takanawa and The Prince Sakura Tower Tokyo can use the pick-up service from the Grand Prince New Takanawa.
8. At the 9 hotels with ■, the pick-up service is available if reservation is made not later than 4 p.m. on the pervious day.
9. Passengers from the Hilton Tokyo will be escorted to the Hyatt Regency on foot for the afternoon tour. (marked ★)
10. The time for drop-off services depends on the location of your hotel and traffic conditions.

* Public transportation is used to for round-trip transfers to the museum in Mitaka, a suburb of Tokyo.
* This tour is a walking tour. We recommend that you wear casual clothing and comfortable shoes suitable for walking.
* This tour is offered for travelers from overseas only.
* Baby buggies are not allowed to enter. You are requested to avoid casual attire (T-shirts, short-pants or sandals) to enjoy the traditional restaurant.
Cancellation Fee PolicyIf you cancel the Travel Contract for personal reasons, the following cancellation rates will apply to the tour fare. Clients remaining in the tour will incur the balance of additional per room costs associated with the change in number of participants.
