The World Cosplay Summit is a famous festival that brings together the best cosplayers (people who dress up as their favorite animation characters) from around the world to Nagoya.
A Cosplay tour conductor and a Cosplay student of OTAKU[English speaker] will accompany all journeys!
To ensure you have the best experience, we recommend that you dress in a cosplay outfit!
"This tour is a rare chance to experience cosplay in its natural habitat. Whatever else might be said, the Japanese take their cosplay seriously, and it is practically a rite of passage for cosplayers from around the globe to visit and strut their stuff on the streets of Akihabara and Harajuku. Not only does H.I.S. provide access to the World Cosplay Summit parade and championship, but they also deliver a slice of a cosplayer's life. This includes a tour of Akihabara - in costume! - and an exclusive hands-on class with Vantan, which offers the world's first cosplay vocational training.
Moreover, there will be chances to meet other cosplayers from Japan and abroad, a kind of cosplay communion. It should be an experience to remember!"

- Go to Cosplay school- learn about costume, hair and make up, get your hair and make up professionally done, learn how to pose for a perfect picture and then have your pictures taken professionally. This will be a rare opportunity for you to enjoy in a day, since they only offer half to a year course at this school. There might be an optional party (still in planning) to socialize with local cosplayers.
- Tour around Akihabara with a local cosplayer! - You will be taken to all his secret, favourite places in Akihabara, including a special maid café, hidden anime shops and more! Ask this otaku (geek) any question you like and find out about his obsession with animation! This will be a special cosplay version and visiting spots will differ from what is normally provided for Akihabara otaku Experience.
- Go to the Cosplay Parade- the biggest Cosplay parade in the world! You can either dress up to participate or you can just watch the hundreds of wildly-dressed cosplayers. Last year close to 200 participated in the parade.
- See the Cosplay Championship- here you will watch the best cosplayers from around the world perform against each other! You have arranged SPECIAL seats for you!

* A tour conductor and a student of OTAKU[English speaker] will accompany all journeys.
(The tour conductor and the student of OTAKU are not tour guides, thus they will not provide guide services)
* English-speaking certified tour guide will accompany with Akihabara otaku tour (August 1)
* The tour fee does not include lunch or dinner. You have to organize these meals yourself.
*If your age is less than 15 of age when starting the tour is required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Cancellation of travel contracts and cancellation charges
When a customer cancels a travel contract, reimbursement will be made after subtracting the cancellation charge specified below from the tour fare (or the application fee) already paid. If the amount already paid is smaller than the cancellation charge, the difference will be charged to the customer.
