Samurai Tour: Samurai Sword Action
New options for the popular Samurai Sword program!
You will learn how to fight using a Samurai sword from a group of experts led by Tetsuro Shimaguchi, the head choreographer in the swordfight scene in the snowy garden in “Kill Bill: Volume One” and the man who played the role of Crazy 88 (Miki) in the film.First, you will learn basic movements in sword fighting, for example, drawing, posing and swinging. Then, before practicing sword fighting in pairs and performing with an instructor, you will watch breathtaking sword fights by your instructors. At the end of this program, you will change into kimono. Don’t miss this great opportunity to receive a lesson from a team of worldwide known sword fighting actors!

* Friday - Beginner and Asakusa Walk
Walking tour in Asakusa (30 min.) is provided after the basic Samurai Sword Class.
* Sunday - Intermediate Level
If you feel beginner class is not enough, this is a great intermediate class for you!Program is closer to martial arts and sword techniques.

About Mr. Shimaguchi
Mr. Shimaguchi and his Samurai group have performed in England and New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Chicago. They make samurai-films, perform sword act techniques at an elite level whilst also collaborating with other cultures, music and arts. Mr. Shimaguchi strives to spread the authentic spirit of Japanese swordsmanship and also to tell the beauty of this Japanese art-form around the world.
