Shiodome/Shimbashi
This is a new place in Tokyo, which has become the center of business, arts, and culture.
Shiodome was originally a seashore wetland. However, in recent years the government has taken up the job of making it a newly developed area called Shiodome SIO Site. This project is now underway.
With Nihon TV’s moving to Shiodome and the opening of Caretta Shiodome, Shiodome is becoming a new hot spot for young middle-class couples.
With the grand opening of Nihon TV Tower in August 2003, Shiodome Ramen, Nittereya, a shopping area, Nittere Delhi where you can taste and eat freshly baked bread became a highlight, along with other places being built..jpg)
Caretta Shiodome is divided into four featured zones. From every corner it is surrounded with artistry. There are 100 different designers from all over the world. This atmosphere is not that of a business district, but has a more worldly feeling.
Another highlight is the Shiodome City Center. Besides shopping and gourmet there are many showrooms where one can have various experience and see a cooking classroom.
There are places where you can experience different things, such as massage and fitness check free of charge. There can also find Porsche showrooms, showrooms for international residence, and many other highlights.
