A Tokyo District with a Hint of European Flair
The spots that stand out in Ebisu - Yebisu Garden Place and the Beer Museum Yebisu - exude a European air.
Yebisu Garden Place is like a complete town onto itself, with all sorts of shops, restaurants and cafes as well as a concert hall, a movie theater, a salon, a museum and a hotel.
Ebisu is a great neighborhood to visit if you find you have a little extra time and want to see the modern, Western- influenced side of Tokyo.
But Ebisu isn't completely Western- influenced. It's also famous for its ramen noodle shops.
In fact, Ebisu is a great place to dine. There are all sorts of top-ranking restaurants here.
Nearby Daikanyama is one of Japan's most upscale neighborhoods, perfect for a stroll and a little shopping.
