Located very close to Roppongi, for someone who wants an up market atmosphere this is the place to spend an afternoon. Walking around this area you are sure to come upon your favorite stores. From casual to luxurious there are many well-known gourmet restaurants and stores in this area. With many sweets and cafes with smartly dressed people how does spending an afternoon in Azabu sound to you? 

Sightseeing Spot

One of the main sightseeing spots in Azabu is the Arisugawa Memorial Park. This was built to commemorate Prince Arisugawa Taruhito. This park is located on the site of the Arisugawa Palace and Gardens. This park is a hilly 67500m2 area with a pond and waterfalls. You will not feel as if you are in downtown Tokyo once you step into this lovely oasis.

There is also a covered walkway near the station. If you have an interest in small shops this is the area for you. This area has a very kind and traditional atmosphere. There is also a festival that is held in every summer in this area.

Azabu-juban Onsen

Pumped out from 500m below ground this is an authentic onsen. In the black onsen water your skin will become very sleek. This place has a retro working class atmosphere.

Kaleidoscope Mukashi-Kan

This store has about 400 types of kaleidoscopes. Inside the shop there are many kaleidoscopes of various colors, sizes, and shapes. Come in and try them out to find one that fits you perfectly.
